In the last week I have seen solar punk go down and aussie.zone owner talk about stepping away.
I’ve not seen two places down at once that has made it to my feed in the last 3 years.
Is the self hosting aspect of lemmy a detriment to the entire environment? Admins getting burnt out or the costs becoming too high is absolutely an issue.
I know this is kind of rambling but what would happen to Lemmy if the major hosters all went down, and we all spun up our own personal services?
…solar punk…
I’ve been reading it as slurp-nik in my head
Sounds like a Soviet space program. Or submarine program?
Some sort of Europa probe perhaps? Drill a hole through the ice and slurp up some of that liquid water underneath.
Or a milkshake program.
Time to test if our milkshake really does bring all the boys to our yard
Damn right. It’s better than mars.
I could teach you but I have to tax appropriately
That explains why you misread things.
This sounds like old beef.
I have you tagged as “thinks people can’t ride bikes”
So not sure you have a whole lot of room to talk there
You should think that through.
